Gain a great introduction to working with borosilicate glass and the torch. In this three-hour workshop, make a beautiful glass pendant by applying color to a clear rod of glass. Take it home and make a lovely necklace for yourself or gift it to someone you love. Wear closed-toe shoes, natural fabrics (like cotton), and tie back long hair in the studio.
Learn to use composition and geometry to create stronger film photographs. Together, we’ll spend the first hour shooting on location, learning how to identify lines, shapes, patterns, and framing in everyday environments. The remainder of class will take place in the darkroom, Studio 233, on the 2nd floor in GoggleWorks, where you will develop your film and create a contact sheet to take home.

The class serves as an introduction to many tools in the woodshop as your learn more contemporary wood art shaping processes. Sketch outdoors on GoggleWorks’ campus! In this session, you will choose your own outdoors subject to sketch from life. You should bring your favorite sketch journal and sketching supplies which can include dry media (pencils, pens, pastels) and water-based media like watercolors and gouache.

Create your very own self-standing clock perfect for displaying on a desk or table. You’ll explore the possibilities of fusing while learning essential concepts and techniques of the process.
