The Studio Passport allows you to access Flameworking open studio hours month to month during our 2018 Fall term. Limited to students with a basic knowledge of glass and overseen by a monitor, instead of instructor, this “class” is a great opportunity to work at your own pace and continue your exploration in the studio.

Studio provides torches, oxygen, gas, and kiln usage. Students are responsible for their own tools and purchasing their own glass.  Fully stocked tool kits are available, add to cart during registration if needed. Tool Kit includes : small shears, large hemostat, flat crimp, small tweezers, large tweezers and glasses. By choosing a tool kit, students agree to be responsible for the cost of replacing any damaged tools.

Turning fresh apple cider into delicious fermented hard cider is the easiest and most enjoyable of fermentation processes. We will obtain our juice from regional orchards in late October then meet to learn about all aspects of hard cider production. Complete this course with approximately 2.5 gallons of bottled hard cider. Great for beginners; intermediate students with prior experience will gain increased knowledge through instruction and independent study.

Our first class will meet 6-9pm October 15 . During the following three months, we will meet approximately every other Monday, from 6-9pm. Due to the unpredictable nature of the fermentation process, we may have meetings on other days.

Come explore basic embroidery techniques and how to apply them to “drawings” using direct drawing, transfer and projection. This will be both a technical skills class and an idea development class. We will discuss stitch, color and materials choices while learning and exploring traditional techniques of drawing such as contour, and hatching through the stitch. This is a great class for beginners up to advanced students in embroidery. We will go over all the basics but all the conceptual and drawing skills can be applied to any skill level.

Grab your loved ones and join us at GoggleWorks for a creative night out! During our Maker Dates you will enjoy beer, wine, and light fare supplied by Belly Kitchen & Drinkery. Get a tour of our most popular studio and then have our ceramic instructors will walk you through the basics of working on the Potter’s Wheel. Create a unique piece of Pottery, then choose a glaze from our Ceramic studio’s selection.
