Happy New Year!
I am so proud of the work our volunteers, supporters, artists, board, and staff did in 2017 to impact the mission of GoggleWorks Center for the Arts. We initiated a new strategic plan and we now have the first year of financial surplus since our founding! Our programs revenue has increased by 200% and class cancellations have decreased by over 50%.
I’m reaching out to you for other reasons—to help the most underserved in our community this new year. Your gift will support any or all of three charitable programs this coming year:
- Our After School Arts Program (ASAP) had a waiting list for the first time this year, serving many of the most needy school children in the nation. We need your support to continue and expand the program by purchasing supplies and paying our art and music teachers.
- We announced the new A.R.T. Program to serve individuals without articulate use of their hands. Many of these artists cannot speak or move, and have never been able to create. Will you consider supporting this program for folks that have tremendous potential for creativity but are confined by their physical limitations?
- We expanded our Scholarship Program, accepting scores of individuals that have no means to afford art classes. Can we rely on you to subsidize these scholarships and reach every person you can think of with the power of art?
We have extended the work of GoggleWorks into new directions. It’s scary and bears substantial risk. Our trustees and board believe in the focus of these programs, which advance our mission and serve those that most need our help.
Will you join with us in extending our hand to new communities, families, and children by donating to GoggleWorks today?
