GoggleWorks Center for the Arts is a 145,000 square foot, five-story factory turned community arts center located in downtown Reading, PA.
The name GoggleWorks pays homage to our campus’ rich, 130-year history as a manufacturing site for optical lenses, goggles, and other safety equipment.
The campus features several large communal teaching and working studios where we offer classes, public demonstrations, and working space for artists.
Community classes and workshops are offered on a year-round ongoing basis for aspiring, emerging, and established artists ages 7 and up.
GoggleWorks offers several programs for emerging artists including our After School Arts Program, free for students residing within Reading School District.
Monthly rental programs in several of our studios offer artists independent time and space to practice their craft.
GoggleWorks' Studio Artists, with working spaces on our 2nd & 3rd floors, are juried-in artists of all mediums at varying points in their professional careers.
The galleries at GoggleWorks offer a dynamic mix of experimental and traditional exhibitions from international, national, and regional contemporary artists.
GoggleWorks presents a robust schedule of public arts & culture events including the annual Arts Festival Reading and our monthly Spotlight Nights.
GoggleWorks’ industrial-chic interior spaces make it a popular, year-round rental venue for community and private events.
