ASAP Fall October 14 - November 21
The After School Arts Program (ASAP) offers students, ages 7-17, residing in the Reading School District and beyond, the opportunity to explore, experiment, and develop their creativity through hands-on, collaborative projects at No Cost to their families. Taught by professional artists and educators, ASAP provides students with all of the knowledge and excitement of an after-school arts program wherever it’s most convenient to them. ASAP will offer virtual classes as well! All classes are from 4-5:30pm every term.
The last day for application submission is Friday, September 20th at 5pm.

El Programa Extraescolar de Artes (ASAP) ofrece a los estudiantes, de 7-17 años, que residen en el Distrito Escolar de Reading y más allá, la oportunidad de explorar, experimentar y desarrollar su creatividad a través de proyectos prácticos y de colaboración sin costo alguno para sus familias. Impartido por artistas y educadores profesionales, ASAP proporciona a los estudiantes todo el conocimiento y la emoción de un programa de artes después de la escuela donde sea más conveniente para ellos. ASAP también ofrecerá clases virtuales en linea! Todas las clases son de 4-5:30pm cada trimestre.
El último día para entregar las solicitudes es el Viernes 20 de Septiembre a las 5pm.

- Upcycled Art: Upcycling is the process of transforming useless/unwanted items into beautiful whimsical new art creations.

- ~*Adaptive Art: For children with learning disabilities, they will have a safe space to learn, explore and create. (Bilingual | Bilingüe – Learning Disability | Dificultades de Aprendizaje)
- Virtual Storytelling & Art: Work with various materials and learn how to tell a story. (ONLINE | EN LÍNEA)

- Culinary Creations: Learn the basics of seasoning, cooking, and how to create healthy snacks and meals.

- Paint Exploration: Learn the basics of painting, techniques and brush strokes to create an array of creative paintings.

- Jewelry Making: Work with beads, polymer clay, cord, gems and more to create unique pieces of jewelry and accessories.
- Neurocreativity: Using art, students will explore their perspectives and feelings to put them on paper through mixed media, drawing and painting. .
- Woodworking Basics: Learn how to shape and give form to wood to create unique pieces. (North West Middle School Students Only)
- Culinary Creations: Learn the basics of seasoning, cooking, and how to create healthy snacks and meals.
- Clay Creations: Learn about various forms of clay using hand building techniques to shape and create unique art.

- Animation: Using a tablet and imagination, learn the basics of digital design and bring your creations to life in short videos.
