Join this virtual space for teens where we share work with one another and learn about new topics related to comics and illustration, including everything from design to anatomy to backstories. Develop your style as we enjoy the benefits of having fun and being silly in art, while sharing tips for dispelling art block. No two sessions are the same – all experience levels welcome!This class will be held online.
This workshop will teach the basics of drawing the human figure from a live model. Through several guided drawing exercises, instructor Lee Shannon will introduce methods for drawing a human quickly and accurately. Note: This class will be working with a nude model.
Learn the basics of watercolor painting with emphasis on letting the water and materials work for you. Other topics covered include mixing colors on and off the paper, how to paint a wash/glaze, wet on wet technique, dry brush technique, and the use of various materials and tools to make unique paintings. Along with the basics, some experimental techniques will be explored.
