Experiment with drawing exercises using graphite and colored pencil in a low-pressure, supportive environment. This Maker Date focuses on creativity, play, and enjoying the process of exploration, rather than perfection. Tuition fee covers one individual; you must register each person attending.
This workshop will teach the basics of drawing the human figure from a live model. Through several guided drawing exercises, instructor Lee Shannon will introduce methods for drawing a human quickly and accurately. Note: This class will involve working with a live nude model. Students must be 18+.
Discover the basics of using acrylic paint pens. Learn the difference between brush tips versus bullet nibs, and the various stylistic choices you can make when using paint pens. Walk away with a small illustration and the knowledge of the medium.

Sketch outdoors on GoggleWorks’ campus! In this session, you will choose your own outdoors subject to sketch from life. You should bring your favorite sketch journal and sketching supplies which can include dry media (pencils, pens, pastels) and water-based media like watercolors and gouache.
