Turn paper into art with needle and thread! In this two-week class, you’ll discover how to stitch on vintage photos, postcards, book pages, and other paper treasures, adding color, texture, and personality to each piece. We’ll provide a variety of paper ephemera, threads, and flosses to explore, but you’re welcome to bring your own special papers as well. You’ll create a stitch sampler and at least one finished piece of unique mixed-media artwork.
Explore different types of loop and loop chain to make your own bracelet. Learn to fuse fine silver wire into solid loops and form them into a variety of different links that can be used for chain making. Use these types of chain to make a bracelet with a clasp that you can wear or gift to a loved one.Closed-toe shoes are required.
