This workshop will teach the basics of drawing the human figure from a live model. Through several guided drawing exercises, instructor Lee Shannon will introduce methods for drawing a human quickly and accurately.
Note: This class will involve working with a live nude model. Ages 18+ only. Class will run from 6-8pm Monday, Oct. 6.

Using warm-toned Procion dyes, you’ll create a set of unique fabric samples and a finished piece perfect for wearing or gifting—no experience necessary. Come dressed to get creative with materials that may stain!
Learn the basics of woodturning while creating a charming wooden apple. Come with no experience, and gain hands-on introduction to the art of turning wood on a lathe. A materials fee is due at registration.
Starting with a simple square blank of hardwood, learn the fundamentals of woodturning, including the safe use of the lathe, turning gouges, and lathe tools. Leave with a beautiful French rolling pin and basic skills which can be applied to a wide range of future turning projects. Great for both beginners and experienced artists. Join us for a cozy rug hooking class where you’ll create charming fall-themed table coasters in shapes like leaves or pumpkins. Perfect for beginners, this hands-on workshop teaches traditional techniques while celebrating the colors and textures of autumn.
Learn about glassblowing as you create an original beer tumbler. Once cooled, pick up your glass at Saucony Creek Franklin Station Brewpub where the second half of the workshop will conclude with a demonstration and tasting with their brew experts 5pm Saturday, Oct. 18.
