Camps run in one-week sessions, Monday through Friday, from 9am to 4pm. All camps take place on-site at the GoggleWorks Center for the Arts. Lunch will be provided for campers. Campers are also welcome to bring a packed lunch, if preferred. Parents/guardians are responsible for drop-off and pick-up. Explore the art of welding with found objects in this one-day workshop. Start the class with a visit to a local scrap yard where you’ll learn how to identify weldable metals for your project. After a lunch break, you’ll learn how to use a MIG welder and hand tools to create your own found object sculpture.
