Join us along with your kids as we explore sewing. Share a sewing machine and a unique experience as you and your child learn how to craft colorful mismatched throw pillows. Learn the basics of sewing in this fun, hands-on course designed just for children ages 9-12. You will practice using a sewing machine, read simple patterns, and craft a small apron while building creative confidence. Students must be able to follow instructions and ask questions in order to create safely and complete their project.
Using templates and handbuilding techniques, create your own ceramic mug perfect for your favorite beverage. In this teen-focused class, you’ll learn how to create slabs of clay by following a template and incorporating textures to the surfaces to make an interesting functional object! Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty!
