Projects include pot melts, color bars, and on edge assembly with an emphasis on various cold working applications. Prerequisite: Intro to Fusing or equivalent experience. Closed-toe shoes are required.
Take your flameworking skills to the next level and dive deeper into coloring and sculpting techniques as you learn to work with hollow tubing and blowing. Prerequisite: Intro to Flameworking. Wear natural fabrics (cotton not polyester) and tie back long hair while working in the studio.
Learn handbuilding and coil techniques by making a luminary for the fall season. You’ll then add decorative embellishments and textures to design a magical lantern that glows beautifully when illuminated. Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.

Learn the fundamentals of crochet in this beginner-friendly class designed for complete newcomers. You will practice essential techniques including holding the hook and yarn, creating basic stitches, and focusing on making granny squares. By the end of the course, you will have completed a beginner project and gained the skills needed to continue crocheting independently.
In this two-part workshop, you’ll first create your own glass vessel in our hot shop as you learn about glassblowing. On the second evening, you’ll return to mix and create your own signature scented soy candle from a variety of phthalate free oils and locally sourced soy wax in collaboration with ShePaintsCo. Leave with your custom finished form—combining function, fragrance, and personal design in one beautiful project.

Whether it’s kids’ cartoons like SpongeBob or something geared towards adults like The Simpsons, then this class is for you! Using the digital media lab, learn what it takes to make your own independent films from concept, animation, and even the importance of good composition and editing. Learn the software professional artists use to bring their cartoons to life, using digital software you can readily use on professional computers. Great if you’re a beginner or already exploring the medium. Come draw with us! Please bring a USB to class.
This one-day lapidary class guides you through the process of creating stone earrings from start to finish. You will learn how to shape, grind, and polish stone using lapidary equipment, then set or assemble your stones into wearable earrings. Please note that this workshop will not include any metalwork, pre-made bezels will be used. Instructor is bilingual in English and Spanish. No prior lapidary experience is required.

Create your own beautiful beaded bracelet using a variety of beading techniques. Together we’ll explore traditional stringing methods, including how to knot between beads, as well as wire-wrapping techniques to connect beads together for a custom design.
