Secure your spot for the pour by pre-purchasing your Scratch Mold block for the Iron Pour Saturday, April 25, 2026, where you’ll see your creation cast in iron. The scratch mold is a block of sand where you will carve your design. Your design will then be filled with molten iron during a live pour demonstration. Once the metal has cooled and solidified, you’ll walk away with a custom solid iron casting of your very own creation.
New this year! Purchase Open Studio time to get a jump on your Scratch Mold design well ahead of the event. Meet in our metalsmithing studio in Building 6. Limited supply of 25 scratch molds available.
Note: Your Scratch Mold will be poured at the Iron Pour Festival on Saturday, April 25. Additional molds will be available for purchase at the Iron Pour on Saturday, April 25 on a first come, first serve basis.

Ditch the standard shutter and step into a world where time stands still. In this hands-on workshop during GoggleWorks’ Iron Pour + Fire Arts Festival, you will play with long exposure techniques and use photography in ways that aren’t possible at standard or high shutter speeds. Using a moving light source, like a flashlight, glow stick, or laser light pens, we’ll “paint” light onto a dark scene and create unique effects on your photographs.
