In this fun and tactile class, young artists ages 8-13 will work with clay in our handbuilding studio with our instructor and learn the process of handbuilding clay. We will cover basic techniques: pinching, building with coils, and soft slab construction. Each class will begin with some ceramic vocabulary, a look at pictures of completed work using the technique covered that day, and a short project demonstration. We’ll handle the creative chaos – we keep the mess, you keep the masterpieces.
