Introduce the family to the art of glassblowing through this family workshop designed just for you and your child. Learn the process of blowing and sculpting hot glass into a fun item for your home. Note: An adult must participate in the workshop. The tuition fee covers one individual, and you must register for each adult and child attending.

Practice painting together with your child as you both create your favorite animal in watercolor art in this family workshop! Learn watercolor basics: all about paint, brushes, and paper. Explore color theory, mixing, and creating form, shadow, and light! Note: An adult must participate in the workshop. In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn basic glass fusing techniques using colorful frit, stringers, and shapes to design a shallow, textured bowl that’s safe for bees to land on. Closed-toe shoes are required.

Explore concept art basics to bring your vision to life through drawing, then learn screen printing basics to turn your drawing into handmade art you can hang up, use, or wear! Leave the class with several prints and a tote bag featuring your creatures.
Discover the art of drawing decorative words and phrases. Guided by Mary Kate McDevitt’s book, Hand Lettering Ledger, learn the framework of drawing proportional words, phrases, typography basics, and drawing skills. Leave with some lovingly illustrated words and phrases of your choice to hang on your wall or share with the world.

For the days you make the prudent decision to save a few glasses of wine, or whiskey, or perhaps even apple cider for later, it is nice to have a bottle stopper for such an occasion – and what a bonus if you made it yourself!
