Jump into the world of jewelry design with silver precious metal clay! In this class, you’ll learn to use molding tools and basic forming techniques to create a truly original piece. Once the design is complete, we’ll lay your project in one of our kilns to harden it into a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry! A materials fee is due at registration.
Join us for a creative night on the wheel and transform a ball of clay into a unique piece of pottery handcrafted by you! Learn the basics of throwing on the wheel while you craft your work, then choose a glaze from our ceramic studio’s selection.
Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Turnaround time for ceramics can be a few weeks. Once the pieces are ready for pick up, you’ll receive an email from our Programs team letting you know.
In this one-day class, you will create a polished stone pendant using lapidary techniques. Instruction will cover stone shaping, grinding, sanding, and polishing, with an introduction to simple pendant finishing or setting methods.
