Create a charming rectangular bread basket, perfect for serving bread or rolls at your table. You will weave with flat reed, incorporate plenty of dyed reed for visual interest, and add shaker tape handles to complete the design.

Discover the simplicity and complexity of itajime shibori, with its limitless possibilities for creativity and pattern. You will learn how to create and use an indigo bath, leaving with a collection of samples as well as one finished piece suitable for wearing or gifting. We will discuss how the samples can be used as the basis for other projects. If you participated in session A or B, bring your samples and see how overdyeing with indigo creates further laying and depth. No previous experience needed! Be dressed to work with materials that can stain.
Sketch outdoors on GoggleWorks’ campus! Learn tips for sketching from life with a special focus on the structure of plants, foliage, and flowers. Please bring your favorite sketch journal and sketching supplies which can include dry media (pencils, pens, pastels) and water-based media like watercolors and gouache.
