Using beginner level skills, learn how to handbuild coils and slabs of clay and transform them into a woven basket. In the creative clay process, you will learn how to use slump molds to shape your piece into a unique basket for your table or kitchen. Instructor is bilingual in English and Spanish.
Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Expect a 3 week turnaround time for your finished work. You will be contacted directly when work is ready for pick up.ย

Learn about glassblowing as you create an original beer tumbler. Once cooled, pick up your glass at Saucony Creek Franklin Station Brewpub where the second half of the workshop will conclude with a demonstration and tasting with their brew experts 5pm Saturday, May 17. Ages 21 and over only. Closed-toe shoes, hair tie are required.
Working with hollow tubing, you will begin to garner the necessary skills to heat, turn, and blow borosilicate glass. The end goal is a functional form. Wear natural fabrics (cotton not polyester) and tie back long hair while working in the studio.
