Art is a powerful, visual language for expressing what words often can’t. In this class, we’ll create three small paintings using bold color and intuition to explore and reflect on our emotions. No experience needed—just come ready to experiment and connect with your inner self.
Shared art materials will be provided in the studio for most classes. Personal supplies can be purchased at our Art Supply Store, located on the first floor of GoggleWorks.
Join us for a creative night with clay! Our ceramic instructor will walk you through the basics of wheel throwing. Create a unique piece of pottery, then choose a glaze from our ceramic studio’s selection. Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
Learn the basics of watercolor painting! Let the water and materials work for you as you practice color mixing, washing and glazing, wet on wet technique, dry brush technique, and experimental paint applications in this multiweek class.

Learn the fundamentals of designing, cutting, and fusing glass. Each session will explore a different technique, resulting in a functional piece of glass art. By the end of the class, you’ll take home at least five completed works. Closed-toe shoes are required.
Learn the skills necessary to throw cylinders, cups, bowls, and more in this exciting introduction to the fundamentals of working on a potter’s wheel. You will be guided through the process of throwing, shaping, and trimming your pieces. Express your creative voice through basic surface decoration and glazing techniques. Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
Get the basics of sewing by learning about fabric types, seam ripping, fabric stabilizing, machine maintenance, and more as you learn these fundamental sewing skills. Walk away with an introductory understanding of how to sew your own wearables and handmade objects.
Have you worked in glassblowing before? Refine your glassblowing skills by developing personal goals while working independently, or with a partner, on a self-directed project. Your instructor will help you problem solve and confront the challenges of intermediate/advanced glass work. Closed-toe shoes, hair tie are required. Please bring your own water bottle!

Learn how to sew a practical and modern crossbody bag from start to finish. You’ll practice useful techniques like adding zippers, sewing a lining, and attaching adjustable straps to create a bag you can use on the daily.
In this workshop, we’ll explore an experimental twist on tie-dye using SolarFast, a light sensitive dye. You’ll learn how to fold, bind, and expose fabric to sunlight to create one-of-a-kind patterns that blend traditional tie-dye with photographic printing techniques. Instructor is bilingual in English and Spanish.
Come play with clay in this family workshop and learn how to make a pinch pot that you will transform into the creature of your choice along with your child! Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
Note: An adult must participate in the workshop. The tuition fee covers one individual, and you must register for each adult and child attending.
