For experienced jewelry makers who want to advance their skills, share ideas, and develop new proficiencies, this intermediate level class will cover a range of various metalsmithing topics, with a focus on design, fabrication, and stone setting applications. Please bring your own fine metals and gemstones to class.
Broaden your wheel throwing techniques and further develop your understanding of the ceramic process. Explore making taller forms, marbling clay, and using slips for surface decorations. Prerequisite: Intro to Wheel Throwing or equivalent experience.
Upgrade your sewing skills and your wardrobe as you learn how to construct your own personalized handbag in this intermediate class. Note: There will be no class Nov. 15.
Advance your silversmithing skills and let that silver shine! We will cut, shape, and join metal with hammer and flame, and other various tools. Topics such as bezel setting and honing your soldering skills will be covered. Walk out blingin’ in your silver jewelry.
