Guided by Mary Kate McDevitt’s book, Hand Lettering Ledger, learn the framework of drawing proportional words, phrases, typography basics, and drawing skills. Leave with some lovingly illustrated words and phrases of your choice to hang on your wall or share with the world.

You will be guided through the process of throwing, shaping, and trimming your pieces. Express your creative voice through basic surface decoration and glazing techniques. Learn essential woodworking skills while creating cozy homes for your feathered garden friends in this family workshop. You and your child will gain practical knowledge in woodworking techniques and birdhouse design, while making a positive impact on our local environment and fostering a deeper connection with nature. Note: An adult must participate in the workshop. The tuition fee covers one individual, and you must register for each adult and child attending. A materials fee is due at registration. Closed-toe shoes are required.
In this two-day workshop, we’ll spend the first day in ceramics where you’ll learn the art of shaping clay into unique pinch pots that will be serving dishes for your crudités. On day two, you’ll craft a beautiful wooden charcuterie board, combining rustic design with functional elegance for the perfect handmade pairing. A materials fee is due at registration. Together in this teens-only class, we’ll create a light hearted mixed media illustration using tools like conte, water soluble crayons, wax pastels, and more to create a small illustration all your own. Create your own beautiful beaded bracelet using a variety of beading techniques. Together we’ll explore traditional stringing methods, including how to knot between beads, as well as wire-wrapping techniques to connect beads together for a custom design. Feel free to bring your own beads to incorporate your very own style into your finished bracelet. Perfect to wear for a night out on the town, or for a gift for a loved one!
Make a beautiful piece of jewelry from start to finish. The first class will explore lapidary: cutting, forming, and polishing raw rock into a shape of your choosing. The second class will cover silversmithing and mounting that stone in a silver frame, essential for adding it to a ring or necklace. This is a truly unique and diverse experience!
Explore the art of welding with found objects in this one-day workshop. Start the class with a visit to a local scrap yard where you’ll learn how to identify weldable metals for your project. After a lunch break, you’ll learn how to use a MIG welder and hand tools to create your own found object sculpture. Be prepared to walk in an industrial setting; gloves and boots/work shoes are highly advised. Prerequisite: Welding Basics or equivalent experience
Stylize your own tote! Choose from a collection of designs provided by GoggleWorks, and mix your preferred ink color to print your own tote bag. We will lead you through the screen printing and heat setting process to create a unique work of art you can take home and enjoy.
Keep your tabletops safe in style with our handmade coasters while you create in our fusing studio. You will use mosaic art to design your own set of glass coasters featuring spring blossoms. Closed-toe shoes are required.
