Before you get back out into nature, connect with the process of foraging by making your own tools from the trees that you fun people and fungi like! Over two sessions, make your own mushroom brush – to clean mushrooms in the field, and a bespoke jar lid for the dried mushroom storage you have, or soon will. A materials fee is due at registration. Have you worked in glassblowing before? Refine your glassblowing skills by developing personal goals while working independently, or with a partner, on a self-directed project. Learn how to cut, cab, facet, and polish any stone of your choice in our studio, or bring some of your own to work on! Discover what it takes to turn a rough stone into a finished, custom-cut gem for your jewelry designs! Once you learn the process, work on as many stones as you’d like throughout the duration of the class! Acceptable stones: pectolite, calcite, fluorite, orthoclase, and quartz.
