Send your kids on the best creative adventure they’ll experience with Art Exploration Camps at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts! Each day is a new experience – packed with hands-on projects and creative adventures in various mediums such as mixed media, painting, drawing, glass, metal, wood, textiles, garden, and more. Give your children the opportunity to discover the joys and endless possibilities in the world of art.
Camps run in one-week sessions, Monday through Friday, from 9am to 4pm. All camps take place on-site at the GoggleWorks Center for the Arts. Lunch will be provided for campers. Campers are welcome to bring a packed lunch, if preferred. Parents/guardians are responsible for drop-off and pick-up. Learn to score, break, and design glass in our glass fusing studio. Each class will focus on a different technique or process, all of which will end with a functional piece of glass art. You can expect to take home at least five finished pieces. Closed-toe shoes required.
Dive into the art of flameworking in this beginner-friendly beads 101 class! Using a torch and glass rods, youll learn how to safely shape, melt, and form your own vibrant glass beads. Wear closed-toe shoes, natural fabrics (like cotton), and tie back long hair in the studio.
Let us fuel your child’s imagination! Your creative kid will learn basic techniques, color blending, and painting skills to create a wonderful and colorful work of art as they discover how to bring their wildest imagination to life. We’ll handle the creative chaos – we keep the mess, you keep the masterpiece.
Add a touch of creativity to your front door! Create personalized, handcrafted house numbers in this hands-on ceramics workshop. You will learn techniques for shaping, carving, and finishing clay to design durable and decorative numbers for their home.

Exploring Shibori: Binding & Wrapping with Warm Colors

In this session, you will learn how to bind and wrap fabric to create four distinct shibori patterns: ne-maki, tazuna, te-kumo, and arashi. We will use Procion dyes in warm colors and you will leave with a collection of samples as well as one finished piece suitable for wearing or gifting. We will discuss how the samples can be used as the basis for other projects, or these pieces can be used in other shibori sessions for further experimentation. No previous experience needed! Be dressed to work with materials that can stain.
Impress your guests at your next party and serve snacks on your own handmade glass charcuterie board! Learn the basics of fusing techniques by cutting and shaping glass, then playing with color and design to create your very own essential serving display.
