Join us for a creative night on the wheel and transform a ball of clay into a unique piece of pottery handcrafted by you! Learn the basics of throwing on the wheel while you craft your work, then choose a glaze from our ceramic studio’s selection.

Turnaround time for ceramics can be a few weeks. Once the pieces are ready for pick up, you’ll receive an email from our Programs team letting you know.

Learn the basic steps of loop in loop chain making and try your hand at making a small segment of chain. Together, we’ll form and bend links into a 2-3 inch chain to be turned into a simple set of dangly earrings. A materials fee is due at registration.

Take your ceramics to the next level with either handbuilding or going big on the wheel. This advanced class explores techniques for constructing bold, large-scale forms with strength, balance, and creative impact.
Learn about glassblowing as you create an original beer tumbler. Once cooled, pick up your glass at Saucony Creek Franklin Station Brewpub where the second half of the workshop will conclude with a demonstration and tasting with their brew experts 5pm Saturday, May 16. Ages 21 and over only. Closed-toe shoes, hair tie are required.

Join us for a hands-on, one-day workshop exploring the basics of alcohol markers! Perfect for beginners or anyone curious about this vibrant medium, this session will cover essential techniques like blending, layering, and shading. You’ll get to know how alcohol markers work, how to control their unique properties, and how to combine them with other tools to enhance your artwork. By the end of the day, you’ll put your new skills to use by creating a small mixed-media illustration to take home.
Shared art materials will be provided in the studio for most classes. Personal supplies can be purchased at our Art Supply Store, located on the first floor of GoggleWorks.
Make a beautiful piece of jewelry from start to finish. The first class will explore lapidary: cutting, forming, and polishing raw rock into a shape of your choosing. The second class will cover silversmithing and mounting that stone in a silver frame, essential for adding it to a ring or necklace. This is a truly unique and diverse experience! A materials fee is due at registration.
Learn how to use and print with a gel plate. You will experiment with materials and designs to create unique monoprints, that you will cut and arrange to make a collage.
Step into the ocean this summer by making your own coral reef vase! Learn to cut strips of glass in our fusing studio and experiment with how glass can fold and drape. This functional item is perfect home decor to remind you that the ocean is calling! Closed-toe shoes required.
