Have you worked in glassblowing before? Refine your glassblowing skills by developing personal goals while working independently, or with a partner, on a self-directed project. Your instructor will help you problem solve and confront the challenges of intermediate/advanced glass work. Closed-toe shoes, hair tie are required. Please bring your own water bottle!

Try your hand at flameworking as we learn to make glass pendants with colors mesmerizingly trapped inside. The end result is a wearable piece of art for yourself or a loved one. Wear natural fabrics (cotton not polyester) and tie back long hair while working in the studio.
Learn about glassblowing as you create an original beer tumbler. Once cooled, pick up your glass at Saucony Creek Franklin Station Brewpub where the second half of the workshop will conclude with a demonstration and tasting with their brew experts 5pm Saturday, June 21. Ages 21 and over only. Closed-toe shoes, hair tie are required.

This workshop will teach the basics of drawing the human figure from a live model. Through several guided drawing exercises, instructor Lee Shannon will introduce methods for drawing a human quickly and accurately. Note: This class will involve working with a live nude model.

Have you ever looked at a handquilted quilt and wondered “how it was done?” This traditional process is one that many quilters appreciate but have never learned how to achieve. This class will cover the basics of marking a quilt top as well as learning the stitching technique. Hand Quilting can be one of the most relaxing parts of the quilt making process! A small fabric/batting kit will be provided. A $35 fee for a handcrafted, wooden supported lap hoop is due at registration.
