Use digitally printed masks on inkjet film, laser pen lights, and colored filters to manipulate polaroid film before capturing the image. Multiple exposure techniques can be done with a Polaroid Lab (phone image duplicator), Polaroid 1-2, Now+ (Gen 2 & 3), Now (Gen 2 & 3), and Polaroid Go cameras.
Class will be held in the Darkroom, Studio 233, on the 2nd floor in GoggleWorks.

Jump into the world of jewelry design with silver precious metal clay! In this class, you’ll learn to use molding tools and basic forming techniques to create a truly original piece. Once the design is complete, we’ll lay your project in one of our kilns to harden it into a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry! A materials fee is due at registration.
Stylize your own tote! Choose from a collection of designs provided by GoggleWorks, and mix your preferred ink color to print your own tote bag. We will lead you through the screen printing and heat setting process to create a unique work of art you can take home and enjoy.
In this session, you will learn about Procion dyes in cool colors, and create a series of stitched samples to create patterns that echo the beauty of nature. We will explore mokume, ori-nui and variations, and karamatsu shibori. If you joined us for session A, those samples can be brought back to be overdyed. Despite the stunning detail of these patterns, each relies on the simplest of stitches, so no previous needlework experience is required. You’ll leave with a collection of samples as well as one finished piece suitable for wearing or gifting. We will discuss how these pieces can be used as the basis for other projects.
Learn the basics of sewing in this fun, hands-on course designed just for children ages 10-13 years old. You will practice using a sewing machine, read simple patterns, and complete a small project while building creative confidence.
