Penn State’s Langan Launchbox presents The Maker Movement meetup at GoggleWorks. The Maker Movement is a social movement with an artisan spirit. Maker culture, made up of independent entrepreneurs, designers, inventors, and self-identifying “do-it-yourself” addicts emphasizes learning through doing in a social environment, informal and peer-led shared learning, and encourages novel applications of technologies.
