Stoneman (Local Film Screening)

It’s a story decades in the making. The final goodbye to the legend Stoneman Willie. For years, he laid in state at Auman’s Funeral Home in Reading, Pennsylvania – as generations told of visiting the funeral home to catch a glimpse. Then in the Fall of 2023 – a goodbye parade was held, followed by a week of final public viewing before being laid to rest and his true identity revealed. It’s an event that gripped the city and captured national and international attention.

Relive it all with a premiere screening of the brand new documentary film – Stoneman.  Friday, 7 PM at The Boscov Theater at GoggleWorks. Following the screening, a Q & A session with the filmmakers, the funeral director, and noted historians.
