Join GoggleWorks and Albright College for the Spring Iron Pour
from 7-10pm on Saturday, April 27!

Don’t miss the exciting display as 2,000 pounds of reclaimed scrap iron is heated to 3,000 degrees and poured into molds.

GoggleWorks welcomes sculptor Tripp Jarvis, who will lead this year’s Iron Pour and associated workshop. Tripp currently exhibits nationally and internationally and is an alumni artist at Liberty Arts Studio and Foundry in Durham, NC.

9am-3pm / Mandala Relief Casting Workshop
In this 5-hour workshop, visiting artist Tripp Jarvis will review the process of cupola iron casting and the materials needed. Using oil based clay as the primary pattern material, participants will create their own Mandala relief pattern and then learn resin bonded sand mold making to create your sculpture that will be cast in iron during the Spring Iron Pour Event, happening later that evening. Come back after sunset to watch your mold filled with 2,900°F+ melted iron! ($)

5:30-6pm / Meet the Artist, Temple of the Heart
Come early and join Tripp to view his latest short documentary Temple of the Heart and learn more about him and his process. (free admission)

7-10pm / Iron Pour
Witness the spectacle! This year we welcome, live music, fire roasted food by Dundore & Heister and, Belly: Kitchen & Drinkery. (free admission)
