Tripp Jarvis is an artist in Durham NC. He is a North Carolina native and received his BFA and MFA from East Carolina University. Prior to earning his Master’s degree, Tripp studied for year at The Estonian Academy of Art in Tallinn, Estonia . He has taught at East Carolina University, Craven Community College, and Durham Technical Community College. Tripp also directs iron casting workshops throughout the south. His works have been exhibited in Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, and across the US. He is an alumni artist at Liberty Arts non profit Sculpture Studio and Foundry in Durham, NC where he continues to assist then in the growth of their iron casting program. He is a father of two.
