Born and raised in Chambersburg, Pa, Scott Krenitsky has studied art all of his life with main foundations in music and drawing/painting. He was introduced to the magically fascinating material of hot glass in 1996 at Tyler School of Art, Temple University in Philadelphia and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in 2000. Scott’s passion for working with hot glass stems from its unique properties and qualities such as transparency/light, optical effects, shape/form, color and texture. He relocated to Berks County after graduating from college and worked for several glass artists and studios, including the Goggleworks Center for the Arts.

Scott now lives in Reading, Pa, where he continues to pursue his love for making glass art as well as teaching various processes and techniques to students of all ages and skill levels. He became the Goggleworks Hot Glass Studio Manager in 2011 and oversees its day-to-day operations, teaches classes and workshops, and creates commissions/custom orders and production work that can be purchased in the Goggleworks Store.
