Matt Brownlow is a multi-hyphenate artist who refuses to stick with a single medium. Specializing in digital and film photography, as well as wheel-thrown ceramics, he constantly finds himself at an impasse of 2D and 3D often exploring how the two differential planes can relate and interact with one another. A large majority of his work captures the earnest humanity of our daily lives in an effort to showcase how simple subjects can embody such effervescent beauty. Brownlow currently offers customizable portraiture sessions in his humble studio space on the 2nd floor and you can often find him producing a new line of ceramic funstionalware in Building 3, if he’s not experimenting with the fresh capabilities of a new medium.
