Lucia Garzón

Lucia Garzón is a Philadelphia based interdisciplinary artist and educator working in a range of media including wood, textiles, installation, and video. Lucia graduated from Tyler School of Art in 2018 with a BFA in printmaking. Lucia was a WIND challenge winner and awarded a solo show at Fleisher Art Memorial in summer 2025 and received first place artist prize at Wharton Esherick Museum. Lucia has been awarded the Joseph Roberts Foundation Grant and the City of Philadelphia supported Illuminate the Arts Grant. Lucia will attend the Museum for Art in Wood, Wingate Artist Residency program in summer 2027. When Lucia is not creating work, you can find them teaching wood and sculpture classes and spending time with their cat Little.
