Barbara Thun received her BFA from Plymouth State College in New Hampshire and her MFA from Bard College in New York.
Barbara has exhibited her work at the Freedman Gallery of Albright College, Lehigh University, Muhlenberg College, Delaware Center for the Arts, Allentown Museum, Pennsylvania State Museum, Reading Public Museum, Yocum Institute of the Arts, Reading Jewish Center, The Hill School, Fleisher Memorial Drawing Center in Philidelphia and Goggleworks Center for the Arts.
My challenge as an artist presenting a landscape image is to engage the viewer’s mind beyond the image – to ask the question, “What is the meaning behind this work?”
