Intern Spotlight: Josh DeJesus

Meet local musician and Wilson High School student, Josh DeJesus. Josh has been interning at GoggleWorks since the beginning of the 2021-22 school year and has assisted with various programs, events, and classes. Josh worked alongside Youth and Teen Programs Manager, Alex Gordon, as he assisted with the After School Arts Program and various events including Pumpkin Palooza and the Student Record Label Fellowship Live performace (Student Fellowship Performance). This is what he had to say about his experience here:

“I’ve learned the ins and outs of how things are set up, how everything is run behind the scenes and learn how to teach a class of kids. I gained knowledge on how to apply art and skills to the real world – being able to network with the people here and being able to find what makes GoggleWorks so special. I’ve learned a lot.” – Joshua D.
