Art Exhibition
Abilities in Motion is partnering with GoggleWorks to present a two-week long art exhibition July 26-August 10 featuring the works of artists with disabilities in honor of the 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), which falls on July 26. Thank you to the Berks Arts Council and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts for a grant for this yearās art exhibition.
The annual ADA Celebration Art Show recognizes the anniversary of the ADA by highlighting the culturally diverse artistic talent of people with disabilities within our local community. Art allows individuals with disabilities to develop a sense of identity and serves as a medium to explore ideas and emotions not otherwise easily expressed. We hope youāll enjoy these artistsā disability stories through art!
