2026 BCIU Secondary Art Exhibition

The Berks County Intermediate Unit (BCIU) presents the 44th Annual Secondary Art Exhibition at the GoggleWorks Center for the Arts. The exhibit is available for viewing during the normal gallery hours, Sunday – Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Art educators from Berks County schools select artwork from students in grades ninth through twelfth to display in the Cohen Gallery at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts. There are over 2,400 pieces of art displayed for the 2026 exhibition. Students’ artworks are judged in the following categories: oils/acrylics, water media, color drawing, black and white drawing, pen and ink drawing, printmaking, mixed media/collage, black and white photography, color photography, digital and photo illustration, hand-built pottery, wheel-thrown pottery, digital art 3-D/motion graphics, graphic design, sculpture, textiles non loom, textiles loom, and none of the above (2D and 3D categories). The Berks County Guild of Craftsmen and Berks Art will award pieces they choose, also.

Awards will be placed on Monday, March 30th, 2026 by end of day.


Reception & Award Ceremony

A reception and award ceremony will be held on Sunday, April 12th, 2026 from 1-3pm.

Friends and families of the exhibiting students are invited to browse the galleries before attending the award ceremony in studio #420 at 1:30pm at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts.
