This is a culminating exhibition of works created by our 2017 Summer Ambassador Fellows. The Summer Ambassador Fellowship Program at GoggleWorks offers a select number of local high school students the opportunity to explore their artistic skill and expand their portfolio within a professional studio environment, under the guidance of professional artist-mentors. Fellows are selected based on their artistic merit, academic achievement, teacher recommendations, and interest in pursuing higher education and/or professional careers in the arts. The seven-week program includes 20 hours of mentor time, a communal Fellow Studio, access to GoggleWorks’ teaching studios, one free summer course, professional development, and materials stipend. The Summer Amabassador Fellowship Program is made possible through a generous donation by Ray and Carole Neag.
