Every year since 1981, the Berks County Intermediate Unit (BCIU) has presented an annual art exhibit featuring the creative works of exceptional Berks County secondary school students. Hosted by GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, the exhibit displays the artwork by young artists from Berks County’s 18 public school districts. Also supported by Reading-Berks Guild of Craftsmen and Berks Art Council, the showcase includes a wide range of categories, including: printmaking, oil, watercolor and acrylic painting, calligraphy, sculpture, fiber arts, photography, ceramics, digital art, jewelry, basket weaving, pastel, and drawing.

Awards Ceremony / March 4th, 1-3pm
The awards ceremony for the Berks County Secondary Art Exhibit will be held on Sunday, March 4th, from 1-3pm in Room 420 at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts. This year’s winners will be announced in 16 categories, along with special awards from Berks County Intermediate Unit, GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, Reading-Berks Guild of Craftsmen, and Berks Art Council. Everyone is welcome to walk through Cohen Gallery before or after the awards ceremony to see all of the student artwork on display.
