About the Internship:
This internship is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in community/signature event planning while learning the inner workings of a creative department at a leading art center. As a Signature Events Intern, you will shadow and collaborate with our Signature Events Manager, Marketing, Engagement, and Programs teams, to develop and execute premiere community events.
What You Will Gain:
Hands-On Event Planning Experience: Work closely with the Signature Events Manager and cross-departmental teams to support the planning, coordination, and execution of GoggleWorks’ premiere signature and community events.
Behind-the-Scenes Arts Administration Insight: Gain firsthand exposure to how a large, community-focused arts organization operates, from event logistics and scheduling to vendor coordination and on-site execution.
Community Engagement & Outreach: Learn how arts organizations build meaningful connections with diverse audiences through inclusive, welcoming events that reflect the community they serve.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Marketing, Engagement, and Programs teams to align event goals with organizational messaging, programming, and audience experience.
Professional Development in a Creative Environment: Develop communication, organization, and problem-solving skills while working alongside experienced arts professionals in a fast-paced, creative setting.
