Engagement Manager

As an Engagement Manager, you will play a crucial role in fostering meaningful relationships with our supporters, partners, and patrons. You’ll collaborate closely with the Executive Director and teams across programs and marketing to create and execute innovative engagement strategies. This role provides room for growth, offering the opportunity to build and shape the future of donor engagement while helping to drive GoggleWorks’ mission forward.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement personalized stewardship plans to build strong, lasting relationships with supporters, partners, and patrons.
  • Create thoughtful thank-you messages, impact reports, and communications that showcase the difference our supporters make.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director to identify, nurture, and retain new and existing supporters.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of annual appeals, ensuring messaging resonates with supporters.
  • Plan, coordinate, and host impactful events that deepen connections with supporters and the community.
  • Work cross-departmentally with programs and marketing teams to organize fundraising events and community engagement activities.
  • Coordinate and host tours and outreach events to connect supporters directly with GoggleWorks’ work.
  • Maintain accurate records of supporter relationships in the donor management system and generate reports to track engagement efforts.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure all aspects of supporter engagement are well-organized and efficiently executed.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in supporter relations, fundraising, or nonprofit operations.
  • Experience with event planning and engagement strategy development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on building lasting relationships.
  • Ability to engage with a diverse range of supporters and community members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and supporter management software.
  • Prior experience in arts, education, or cultural organizations is preferred.
  • A passion for building community connections and advancing nonprofit missions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
