FLSA Status: 20-30 hours per week from February – October and very limited hours Nov. – Jan. This position is a “fixed term” position with funding for three years and chances of renewal.
Compensation: $20,000
Garden Manager Job Summary: The Garden Manager oversees all garden operations, including design, project management, weeding, irrigation, permaculture installations, harvesting by engaging volunteers, students, neighbors, the 2022 resident horticulturist, and RSD staff. The Garden Manager is responsible for facilitating a range of arts education programs including: classes, workshops, tours, demonstrations, and other activities as assigned. Under the direction of the Artistic Director, the Garden Manager engages the community at large as well as internally at GoggleWorks and the school. The Garden manager will demonstrate GoggleWorks’ values and seek to advance equity, inclusion, and diversity for all stakeholders.
