3 Ways to Register

  1. Online here
  2. Via phone by calling 610.374.4600
  3. In person by visiting our information desk

Registration closes five business days prior to the start of class in order for instructors to facilitate the best experience.

Payment

Students must pay for classes in full upon registration. We accept cash and checks (on-site only) and all major credit cards. A 3% processing fee is charged for credit card orders. Processing fees can be avoided by paying on-site with cash or check. Read course descriptions carefully for dates, times, format type, and required supplies. GoggleWorks will send an email confirmation after registration.

Cancellations & Refunds

In the event that a student must withdraw their registration from a class or workshop, GoggleWorks will issue a full refund if cancellation is made seven days prior to the start of class. There will be no refunds or pro-rating options for missed classes. No refunds are issued for cancellations made within one week (seven days) of the first day of the scheduled class. GoggleWorks reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment. If a course is canceled, you will be notified via email of the cancellation one week prior to the start of class and will be offered to transfer to another course for a substitute, a class credit, or issued a full refund. In the event that a class or workshop is canceled due to inclement weather, GoggleWorks will schedule a make-up date.

*Summer Camp only: If campers do not wish to continue after first day of camp, a 50% refund is available.

Location

Classes at GoggleWorks are located all around campus depending on your medium.

If you are unsure where class meets, our Community Ambassador at the front desk will be able to assist you when you arrive for class. Our facility is handicapped accessible. If there is anything we should know to help you have a positive class experience, please note it in your registration.

Minors

GoggleWorks requires written permission for all students under the age of 18 who are enrolled in any adult course. Please contact programs@goggleworks.org if you are enrolling a minor and a permission form will be provided via email before the start date of the course. This does not apply for Bring Your Own Adult Family Workshops, Mini-Makers! or Youth & Teen classes.

Waitlists

If a class reaches maximum capacity, you will have the option to join a waitlist at the time of registration. If open spots become available in a waitlisted course, waitlisted students will be contacted to register in order of when they were added to the waitlist. If enough students join the waitlist, GoggleWorks will try to add an additional class or workshop.

Materials & Supply Lists

Most materials required for your course are included in the price of tuition. If additional supplies are needed before the beginning of class, a supply list will be included with the course description online.

Open Studios

All currently enrolled students in wood, ceramics, hot glass, warm glass, and metalsmithing have open studio hours included in tuition or available for purchase. Discounted open studios are only available to students currently enrolled in multiple week courses.

Make-up Dates

GoggleWorks does not offer make-up dates for any student who is unable to attend a scheduled class.

Sickness

In an effort to keep all participants safe, GoggleWorks asks that you please not attend in the event that you are exhibiting any symptoms of sickness. If you are feeling unwell, please contact the Programs Department at programs@goggleworks.org as soon as possible so we can work with you proactively to find an acceptable solution.

Artwork Pickup

If your class or workshop project(s) requires additional treatment after the course is over, GoggleWorks will contact you when work is completed and ready to be picked up. GoggleWorks does not ship work to students. Student artwork will be held 60 days after the course end date. After the 60-day period, the artwork is considered GoggleWorks property and is subject to sell, discard, etc.

Class Credits

Class credits can be issued in lieu of a refund as requested. Credits are linked directly to your email account. You will need to be logged into your account on GoggleWorks’ website to redeem the credit. Credit codes are directly emailed to you. Credits expire at the end of the term (spring, summer, fall) and cannot be refunded once issued.

Video & Photographs

GoggleWorks reserves the right to use photographs and/or videos taken during classes and other programs to market and promote GoggleWorks and its programs. Any student or legal guardian who does not wish to have his or her child photographed or photographed themselves, is asked to notify programs@goggleworks.org upon registration.

Photographers and hobbyists are permitted to shoot photos in “open to the public” spaces, including galleries, hallways, stairwells. No lighting or equipment may be plugged in for these occasions. Studios 411, 238, and 420 are restricted for photo shoots unless those spaces have been rented and paid for. The photo shoot must not interfere with other guests’ experiences or block any egress routes or pathways.
