Lily Cernak is based at Studio 303 at the GoggleWorks, and is a freelance artist and translator. Lily enjoys incorporating characters and narrative elements into her art, and has worked on several webcomic series. Most of her work is digital (her classes cover programs such as Photoshop and Manga Studio for illustration and graphic novels, Flash and Toonboom Harmony for animation, and Tilt Brush and Medium for virtual reality art), but she has also occasionally works in paint or marker. In 2012 Lily designed and created a large mural at the Lyman Allyn Art Museum as part of their Hello Manga! exhibit. Lily is also involved with travel and cultural exchange, and has led several guided trips to Japan for students.
