Studio Spotlight: Warm Glass

Visit Building 6 and learn more about what GoggleWorks has to offer in flameworking, fused, and stained glass. Meet Maggie Gallen, our warm glass studio technician, along with some of the artists that create in this space.
We’ve recently carved out a corner of space to highlight the people and their talents that enable these studios to thrive; The Blue Wall. Shelly Wolfe, a dedicated flameworker, will have her art up for the spring/summer term. Exploring glass since 2010 Shelly loves the immediacy that the medium demands. She hopes to bring a sense of whimsy, nostalgia and joy to viewers through detailed sculptural pieces. “Hot glass requires me to be completely attentive to the present moment, which provides me with a creative escape from any anxieties towards past and future.”

Admission and parking are free. Complimentary light fare and cash bar featuring Sly Fox Beer provided by Belly: Kitchen & Drinkery.
