Star Wheel Printers’ current exhibition explores the idea of connections and disconnections. As artists our work visually investigates, through abstraction and representation, our personal response to the world. Aware or unaware we identify and create connections and disconnections through both calculated and instinctive manipulation of materials, imagery, color, and composition.

This exhibition features print works from Star Wheel Printers a collective of professional artists that aims to support, promote and share printmaking with other artists and communities in the Philadelphia region. SWP acknowledges the area’s strong community of printmakers and present a means to share our passion for relief, intaglio, planographic, and serigraphic printing. The collective seeks to engage dedicated emerging and professional artists by forging connections through collaborative projects, exhibitions, discussions, and a continued exchange of ideas. SWP seeks to foster and encourage an appreciation of printmaking by further educating each other and the community about this art form.
