GoggleWorks is pleased to announce an open call to all professional artists, age 18 and up, who design and produce their own work, to show in our 11th Annual Juried Exhibition. Open to all media, this exhibition aims to curate a selection of exemplary contemporary work from artists around the country. A catalog will be published by GoggleWorks Center for the Arts containing artists’ bios and images of work(s), together with the juror’s bio and statement.

About the Juror

Thora Jacobson, Executive Director for the Philadelphia Art Alliance, is an experienced art consultant with an extensive background in the arts. Jacobson started her career as Student Center Coordinator for the Philadelphia Art Museum. She then moved on to become Executive Director of the Samuel S. Fleisher Art Memorial, where she worked for over 33 years. Throughout her experience, she worked as the Interim Director of Operations for the Asian Arts Initiative, COO for Philagrafika and City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program, Vice President for the Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, and Adjunct Instructor for Drexel University. Jacobson is skilled in Nonprofit Organizations, Art Education, Event Management, Art Direction, and Philanthropy.
