How often is the word “free” involved when attending an event full of activities?

This past weekend, GoggleWorks hosted its 5th Annual Pumpkin Palooza. The event welcomed all ages to spend their day enjoying fun activities including live music, painting ceramic pumpkins, gourd slingshot, Lego building, virtual reality, apple cider and beer tastings, and more!  The best part? FREE admission and parking. We wanted to provide a little taste of fall to bring in the new season.

Attendees also had the option to shop our selection of handmade glass blown pumpkins. But wait, this event was all about giving our community a great time, right? Thanks to the assistance of our professional glass artists, our guests had the opportunity to make their own pumpkin in our Hot Glass or Fused Glass studios. Both children and adults got to personally experience the process from start to finish and take home their masterpieces! The talent we were able to witness by every participant was astounding.

One of the most rewarding benefits about hosting events like these is being able to see the smiles and happiness that radiates from bringing our community together. It shows a physical representation of our mission to transform lives through interactions with art.

Special thanks to Stonewall Farms for their donation of mini pumpkins, Sly Fox Brewing Company for their beer donation, and all of our volunteers who made the day successful. A huge thank you also goes out to everyone who stopped by and spent the day with us! We hope to see everyone again at next year’s Pumpkin Palooza!
