Mike has been working with stones for almost 50 years. Mostly self taught and with many things learned over the years from others Mike started grinding and polishing stones like Turquoise, Tiger Eye and Labradorite into Cabochons, graduated to Opals and then later Faceting of Gemstones. He enjoys turning a piece of rough stone into a beautiful object that can be made into a cherished piece of jewelry. Teaching others to enjoy this hobby is rewarding and fun. techniques of cutting, grinding, and polishing.
