Explore the art of welding with metal found objects in this one-day workshop. Starting with a visit to a local scrap yard, you will learn how to identify weldable metals for your project. After a lunch break, use a MIG welder with other related hand tools to create your own found object sculpture.

Be prepared to walk in an industrial setting; gloves and boots/work shoes are highly advised. Welding Basics or equivalent experience is necessary to ensure your success in this class.

Please wear closed-toe shoes, natural fabrics (cotton not polyester), and tie back long hair while working in the studio.
