You will learn the principles of creating volume in a flat sheet of copper to construct a cup or dish of your choosing. Both sinking and raising will be demonstrated and can be used to great effect by combining the two methods. Explanations of joining multiple pieces of copper and the geometric shapes involved in creating advanced vessel creation will be explained, and if time allows, demonstrated. Hammer texturing for finishing will also be introduced.
